About Me Report

  • Susan lost 90 lbs.

    Susan lost 90 lbs.

The year 2008 found us both obese. Susan had been investigating gastric bypass surgery, but the physician refused to operate on her because of a previous stomach band.

A friend asked Susan to do the TSFL program with her. After Susan placed her first order, the box sat on the piano for a week after it arrived. Susan’s coach, Joe, called her up and said, “Susan, you have to open the box.” Within six months Susan had lost fifty pounds.

Susan recommended the program to her sister, Nancy, who had lost considerable weight after gastric bypass surgery, but was gaining that weight back. Joe worked with Nancy. She got back to her minimum post-surgery weight and then lost even more. Susan decided to become a coach herself.

Jan was taking medication for high blood pressure, cholesterol, and triglycerides. When he ran up two flights of stairs he’d have to stop and pant for a while, catching his breath and letting his heart stop pounding. Like many fat people, he was in denial.

The opportunity to help people appealed to him. He loved everything that he had learned about the company and the people involved in the program, and he knew that the program worked.

Jan started on the program in late February. In April his doctor reduced his diabetes medication dosage by half after his laboratory test results showed dramatic improvement in his blood sugar, cholesterol, and triglycerides.

When his loss reached a total of forty pounds, his co-workers finally started mentioning how his appearance had changed.

By the end of June he reached a body mass index (BMI) of 24.9, putting his weight in the normal range for his height. All his medications were reduced.

One day Jan was accompanying four teenage boys to the airport, where bounded up the staircase and race walked down the concourse to the gate. When the boys finally arrived at the counter, one told Jan, “You are really fit.”
